Yesterday, I think Buck lost 1 pound and I didn’t lose anything. Today, we both lost 0.8 pounds. So far, Buck has lost 13 pounds and I have lost almost 10 pounds. In one week. 🙂 I have to say that it has actually gotten easier the past couple of days. Some of the cravings have gone away.
We did cheat tonight and got salads from Wendy’s. It was delicious! I’ve talked Buck into practicing the metabolism “kick.” A personal trainer I had once told me that you can “trick” your metabolism by eating low calories for 2-3 days and then bumping up your calories for 1 day. He said this keeps your metabolism confused and you lose more weight. Looking back on it now, he seemed to be talking about my metabolism like it was a little leprechaun.
